The USA Fulbright Scholarship 2018 Masters and PhD Program funds graduate study in the United States for a Master’s or Ph.D. degree. This Scholarship is funded by USAID (United States Agency for International Development). Fulbright Scholarship is one of the most valued scholarship around the world to get this scholarship is a dream for most of the student who are interested to study abroad for research and Development (R&D)

Eligibility for Masters Degree:

For Masters degree, the student should have 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or a Bachelor and Masters combination totaling the 16-year education from an accredited university. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply except for MBA, that requires 3-year of experience.

Eligibility for PhD Degree:

For PhD degree, the students should have Master’s Degree. M.Phil or comparable degree (minimum 18-year of formal education). The candidates having teaching, research, or the public sector experience would be preferred.

For both the Masters and PhD programs, all academic disciplines are eligible, except clinical medicine. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all applicants. Under the new scoring system, minimum scores of 138 in the verbal and 136 in the quantitative sections are required. Applicants must also possess a high level of fluency in spoken and written English. Short-listed applicants will be required to bring proof of TOEFL registration with them to the interview.

All successful candidates are required to sign a contract with USEFP and, for successful Ph.D. candidates, a bond with the HEC that binds them to return to Pakistan immediately after their program in the U.S. and serve the country for the number of years equivalent to the length of their scholarship program. This contract is redeemable on a year-for-year basis minimum of two years; as long as a person fulfills the service requirement, he or she will pay nothing.

GRE Requirement:

The Graduate Record Examination is required for all the applicants.

TOEFL Requirement:

The Test of English as a Foreign Language will be required for short-listed applicants.
